I really love blueberries. I was lucky enough to spend every summer of my youth (and many years into ‘not youth’) on a small island in the middle of a massive lake. This tiny island was and still is covered in blueberry bushes, but not the tiny low bush blueberries… but massive tree like high bush blueberries, ones that tower high above your tiny human head, sun shattered canopies of blueberries hanging down like tiny blue grapes. I swear, they exist.
