Sea Lavender, does not smell like lavender…but is a gem of a plant. Growing deep inside meandering marshes and forgotten tidal banks, this semi-aquatic plant thrives in salty water, filtering the salt out at the base of its stem in the form of tiny crystals…for about two weeks she blooms, turning the marshes a dusty lilac purple.
