Tiny Flags Displaying Big Feelings (a downloadable page)
I painted these ‘flags’ in hopes of releasing some of my more intense feelings about the state of things…in an aesthetically pleasing way (I hope). But what to do with these images now? In my mind they are wrapped up tight in some milkweed pod (my house), waiting to be released into a breeze and sown. So, with the advent of the internet I can crack open that pod and let them blow away to wherever.
This is a download, meaning you can print as many as you want - on whatever paper you like (sticker paper, thick paper, cream colored paper, expensive paper, regular paper). I have been printing them out and stringing them together (naturally). But I also like to cut them out and laminate each one with packing tape…becoming little tokens or tiles to put in a bag, leave on a table or park bench…who knows - get creative -
Don’t give up the ship.
