Here is my latest labor of love.
Rivers Matter is a story told from the Kennebec River’s perspective. It follows her relationship with her many children, dams and us.
I created this story and illustrations to raise awareness around the 2024 dam relicensing of the Shawmut dam, one of 4 dams on the Kennebec blocking Atlantic salmon from reaching her ancestral spawning grounds in the Sandy River.
I hope to adapt this story into a children’s book one day, but for now, with my limited capacity please accept this coloring adventure.
