The Kennebec River Needs You!

She is Mother and Keeper to so Many.

The Shawmut Dam on the Kennebec River is currently under relicensing from FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission). This means FERC is considering whether the dam should stay or be removed. It is an important issue that has sadly divided many people along the river.

If the dam is removed one of Maine’s last paper mills will be forced to close. If the dam(s) remain we stand to lose the last wild Atlantic Salmon runs on the east coast.

I believe this issue deserves real conversation - Whatever your position!

educational coloring books, botanical & environmental posters, hand cut garlands, stationery, stickers & commissions…

My name is Isabella-Zoe, I am an independent illustrator based in Southern Wabanaki Territory. My passion is creating thoughtful illustrations that aim to map the organic relationships that bind us to the natural world.

I made an ABC’s Poster…of all my friends of the Northeast!

All these friends can be found in and around the Northeast…at some point in the year. Some go on long journeys to arrive here, others are here all along. We are beyond lucky to share this earth with such a variety of beautiful life. I guess I made a poster to remind myself!

Get Silly with native Reptiles and Amphibians!

Silly New Coloring Book!

Party Animals, Reptile and Amphibian Edition is a journey into the wild and silly lives of 12 of Maine’s herpetofauna (the fun word for Reptiles and Amphibians). While the animals themselves are real and accurate, what they are doing has been given some…creative license. Meant more of a guide to enjoy the silliness of life rather than an extremely accurate nature guide.
